Stu Holt has returned to the Western Kentucky football program as the tackles and tight ends coach, according to a release from the university’s athletics department. Holt replaces A.J. Pratt, who left the staff last month to pursue other opportunities.

Holt served on the Hilltopper coaching staff from 2003 to 2009, and spent the 2010 season as the running backs coach at Tennessee State.

Holt coached running backs during his first stint at WKU, and was special teams coordinator in 2005 and 2009.

The Daily News reported July 19 through an anonymous source that Holt would be returning to the team.
