Will Mallory

LaCENTER — Will Mallory, 19, died at 7:22 a.m. Aug. 3, 2011, in Bowling Green.

He was a sophomore at the University of Kentucky, in the UK Honors Program. He was also a Governors Scholar. He was a 2010 honor graduate of Ballard Memorial High School. He was on the Ballard Memorial High School football and basketball teams. He loved life and was very involved in his church, the youth group and also the youth praise band. He was a son of Mike and Jenny Mallory of LaCenter, who survive. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Ann Darke Mallory.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of LaCenter with interment at Bellmont Cemetery in Allensville at 6 p.m. Sunday in a joint graveside service with his cousin, Benton Page. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in LaCenter. Morrow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two brothers, Alex and Matt Mallory of LaCenter; three grandparents, Billy Mallory of Olmstead, and Victor and Henry Etta Page of Allensville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
