HODGENVILLE — Parthenia “Pat” Francis Gregory Meers, 63, of Buffalo, died July 31, 2011, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

The California native was born Jan. 31, 1948. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She was retired from the LaRue County Circuit Clerk’s Office after 30 years of service. She was a past matron of Buffalo Eastern Star, past president of Buffalo Lions Club, an EMT for the LaRue County Band of Hawks, past member of the Buffalo Garden Club, secretary of the Buffalo PTO, an avid supporter of Relay and Trust for Life and Mamaw to most all children. She was a daughter of the late William “Bill” Harrison and Helen Elizabeth Carter Gregory. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gabriel Blair.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rust-Wright Funeral Home, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, John Tilden “J.T.” Meers III of Buffalo; a son, Lennie Cruse and his wife, Tammy, of Hodgenville; two daughters, Kim Blair and her husband, Kerry, of Buffalo, and Polley Dailey and her husband, Michael, of Vine Grove; a brother, John Gregory and his wife, Nancy, of Glasgow; a sister, Mary Meers and her husband, Don, of Hodgenville; a father and mother-in-law, John T. Jr. and Genrose Polley Meers of Buffalo; four grandchildren, Brandon and Catilin Cruse and Mac and Zoe Blair; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
