Jonell Mosser, has long been Nashville’s go to gal for background vocals for everyone from Etta James to Wynonna. On July 19 she released her 6th solo album, Fortunes Lost, Fortunes Told. The album was co-produced with band members Tom Britt (Vince Gill, Patty Loveless), Craig Krampf (Melissa Etheridge, Steve Perry), Kevin McKendree (Brian Setzer, Delbert McClinton), and Steve Mackey (Dolly Parton, Wynonna, Delbert McClinton).
According to www.jonellmosser.com, the album includes “soaring, heartfelt ballads and crunch blues rock”. The Amazon.com editorial review exclaims, “Mosser’s sound is a pure vocal expression of hard-won joy, gritty determination, soul-deep heartache and feisty flirtation with a worldly edge. This richness of emotion and interpretation has made fans of Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Don Was and Ringo Starr, to name a very few. Fortunes Lost, Fortunes Told will delight longtime fans and excite new ones as they discover what the music industry has known for so long – this woman can sing! “
