John W. Gregory III

FRANKLIN — John Wesley Gregory III, 24, of Franklin, died July 24, 2011, at The Medical Center in Franklin.

The Simpson County native was a member of Round Pond Presbyterian Church. He was a son of John Wesley Gregory II and Nell Camille Cassetty Norwood of Franklin, who both survive. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, John Wesley Gregory Sr.; and a son, Hayden Braxton Gregory.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home, with burial in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and begins at 6 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include a sister, Lisa Michelle Beck of Alvaton; a brother, Steven Gossett Gregory of Franklin; a stepfather, Alan Norwood of Franklin; a stepmother, Jennifer Gregory of Franklin; a stepsister, Jessica Lynn Crafton of Lewisburg; two stepbrothers, Jarred Daniel Rowland and Donald Bronson Norwood, both of Franklin; a paternal grandmother, RoseMary Gregory of Franklin; maternal grandparents, Sterling and Sue Cassetty of Franklin; a loyal companion, Valerie Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
