The Capitol Arts Alliance presents July Jam

On Saturday July 23 at 7 pm the Capitol Arts Alliance will filled with music for July Jam, a concert to benefit the Capitol Arts Alliance. This will be evening filled with quality music from some of the finest musicians in the Bowling Green area. In concert on the Capitol’s stage will be four local bands, Thr3e, Shady Jake and the Upsetters, the Revolution and the Killer Bs.
Joining the entertainment will be our emcee for the evening, local attorney and personality Alan Simpson, blues musician, radio personality and former World Federation wrestler Hillbilly Jim, blues musician Percy Mandoberg and bluegrass performer Joey Hayes. Hillbilly Jim, Percy and Joey will be performing during the band switchover time to keep the entertainment flowing.
All of the musicians involved are donating their time in a unified effort to support the Capitol Arts Center. These talented local musicians are organizing the event and are doing this to show to help the Capitol continue in its mission of providing quality entertainment and arts education to the region. Band members that we all know and have seen entertaining Bowling Green are:
100% of the proceeds from the event will go to helping the Capitol continue to operate as the performing arts center in the community.
This will be a family show and all ages are welcome.
