Wilfriede D. McChesney, 91, of Bowling Green, died at 8:45 a.m. June 19, 2011, at her home.

The Vesselhone, Kreis, Rotenburg, Germany, native was born Feb. 16, 1920. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran. She was a daughter of the late Bernhard Miel Fredinand and Esther Wlohall Jordan.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, retired Command Sgt. Maj. Hervey B. McChesney Jr.; a son, Dieter Bueller of Texas; a sister, Marlis Louise Jordan of Bremerhaven-Lehe; and three sisters-in-law, Lorraine McChesney Durey, Doris Marie McChesney and Laverne Audry McChesney.
