Western Kentucky University’s Department of Folk Studies and Anthropology will present the Gardner House open house by appointment only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Upper Green River Biological Preserve in Hart County.

The event, which will show what Kentucky was like before the Civil War, will feature a music presentation, basket-making demonstrations, tours of the house and more.
