Fashionista to the Rescue: Sizzling Summer Style

Summer is here!  Finally time to pull out our white and seer-sucker and begin your warm weather fun.  This summer’s trends are across the board from boho to feminine.  No matter what your style, by purchasing a few pieces, your closet can be updated instantly with little effort.  Here are five of my favorite right now fashion do’s.  Try two or all of them. Remember that fashion should always be fun and only wear pieces that make you feel fabulous.

1.    The Fedora- This 1950’s inspired trend is making a comeback this summer.  Throw on with a plain white tee and jeans and you will instantly be transformed into a style maven.  (It’s also very helpful on a bad hair day)

2.    Color Blocking- I can’t get enough of the bold colors that are out this summer.  Mixing bold shades together is all over the runway and should be a total fashion do for spring. Orange is huge and everyone should try and add this to your wardrobe.  Also try blue, pink and lime green.

3.    Teal Nail Polish-A little surprising, a little fabulous.  Add this pop of color into any outfit with little effort.

4.    Stripes-You don’t have to be on a boat to pull this nautical theme off.  But, if you find yourself on a yacht, you’ll be set!  I love the class blue strip shirt with white trousers. Also try a stripe cotton dress with flats.

5.     Floral-This feminine print always shows up in the summer. This year, try mixing it with other patterns such as stripes to create a look that is visually stimulating.
