City employee a hero during attack by dog

On March 23, I was walking a small Bichon dog named Ed, on a leash, for a friend.
He was attacked by a Weimaraner from behind. The Weimaraner was very vicious and was out to kill. I was terrified, screaming and could do nothing. I looked up after a few minutes and a city truck was coming down the street. A nice young man jumped out of the truck to get the dog off of Ed.

This young man’s name is Kevin Meredith and he works for the city. I am so thankful he came along to help and words cannot describe how I feel. God sent me an angel to help. My friend and I wanted to say thank you Kevin for saving Ed’s life. We also wanted Bowling Green to know that Kevin Meredith is a hero to us.
Two thankful citizens,
