The Historic RailPark & Train Museum announces its annual Tour Guide recruitment and training classes to be held March 22, 24 and 26 at the L&N Depot.

“Volunteers are the backbone of our organization”, states Sharon Tabor, Executive Director of the Historic RailPark & Train Museum.  “We are entering our busiest season of the year with summer tourist travel and there is a need for tour guides to assist with our growing visitorship.  Our Tour Guides (or docents) are the people who share the experience of passenger travel with our visitors  and are the ambassadors for the RailPark and Bowling Green.  People from all over the United States and many foreign countries come to see our collection of rail cars.  For anyone who likes to meet people this is a wonderful experience.  You don’t need to know anything about railroads – we give you the information. You just need to like people!” she states.
