Reggie Jaggers was born Sept.3, 1951 in Louisville Ky.  He lived there off and on for approximately sixteen years.  Reggie has been a musician most all his life.  He composes his own music, plays all the instruments on his songs and has his own recording studio.  His family moved back and forth from Louisville to his hometown of Bee Springs, KY for many years.  Because of moving so much it was difficult for Reggie to make friends.  During his last move to Louisville, Reggie started attending Valley High School.  He went to classes at night and it was there that he met his best friend, Glenn Bryant.  This happened to be exactly when The Beatles first came to the US so they came up with the idea of starting a band to compete in a talent show at school.  Glenn was the only one who could actually play a guitar so he taught Reggie when they spent the night with each other and even over the phone.   Glenn would tell Reggie where to place his fingers on the guitar neck.  This is how Reggie got started playing instruments and writing songs.  Since then Reggie has taught himself to play the Piano, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin and Steel Guitar.

Reggie says, “I absolutely fell in love with The Beatles, their songs were about my life, my youth, my pain.  Glenn and I started writing songs together, seeing ourselves as the next Lennon/McCartney.  Of course, about the time I was really comfortable with my life and my friend, we again moved back to the country never again to return to the city”.  While living in Bee Springs, at his high school, Reggie met another friend who played guitar and they started a band called “The Shades of Gray”. Reggie says, “I’ve played since I was twelve or thirteen years old and for some reason I never gave it up, (except for two years after my youngest brother was killed).  Reggie is also a great painter.  He has always drawn.  “I used to spend many nights writing songs and then doing the art work for the Album Covers.  I would sit mezmerized looking at beautiful paintings so I thought I’d try it.  I haven’t stopped since.  I try to touch peoples’ hearts with my music and I do the same with my art, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t”, says Jaggers.

Reggie’s accomplishments are:
