Bowling Green’s Byron House appeared last week on Late Night with David Letterman, performing with Robert Plant’s Band of Joy.  The group’s London concert will be the subject of a documentary to air later this month.

Before the Late Night performance, Plant talked with Letterman about his new found interest in mountain music from the south which evolved from the Scots-Irish ancestry in the area.  He observed that mountain folk had gone on to influence the blues and the British invasion.  Plant’s interview also included memories of Elvis and how he influenced Plant’s music.

House has been touring extensively with the Band of Joy since the release of their album.  The Band of Joy Lond Concert documentary will premiere on HD Net on February 20th at 8:00 PM eastern time.
