Romeo & Juliet, a Public Theatre of Kentucky production

The Public Theatre of Kentucky brings the great romance Romeo & Juliet to the stage at the Phoenix Theatre January 28 – February 13, 2011.
Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet is one of the most famous plays of all times. It is a beautiful tale of love which reaches across generations and speaks to countless audiences. Everyone reads it in high school because it is a great story to introduce anyone to live theatre.
To make the play more enjoyable for modern day audiences this production is set in the celebratory atmostphere of New Orlean’s Mardi Gras 2011.
The Public Theatre of Kentucky’s Romeo & Juliet will be January 28-29, February 4-5 and February 11-12 at 8:00pm; February 3 and 10 at 7:00pm; and January 30, February 6 & 13 at 3:00pm.
All performances will be held at the Phoenix Theatre at 545 Morris Alley in downtown Bowling Green (off Chestnut Street one block from the square).
