The annual Macy’s Used Book Sale will be held Feb. 4-6 at Bowling Green’s Historic L&N Depot.

Thousands of materials will be available for sale at the event. Proceeds from the used book sale will benefit the Southern Kentucky Book Fest partnership and area literacy projects.

“We have started to see donations already and are very excited to partner with SOKY Book Fest again on the event this year,” said Shannon Chambers, general manager of Macy’s. “I love to read and can’t wait to see what books turn up at the sale.”

Donations of books, videos, CDs, DVDs, and audio books can be made at Macy’s, Warren County Public Library main branch, or WKU Libraries Java City and Cravens Fourth Floor Circulation Desk through Jan. 31. Donated materials are tax deductible.

The sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 5, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 6. Volunteers are needed to unload books prior to the sale and to assist customers during the sale dates.
