Bowling Green is now represented in two of the top three spots on Billboard’s 200 Albums chart.  Taylor Swift’s Speak Now, which features the song Enchanted with strings performed and arranged by Chris Carmichael, relinquished its two-week #1 position, moving to third place after Cake’s Showroom of Compassion and Cage The Elephant‘s Thank You Happy Birthday.   Cage’s self titled debut also remains on Billboard’s chart.  As the buzz surrounding the group continues, album reviews can be spotted on most music websites and Rolling Stone recently posted a series of unplugged videos.

Thanks to sales of 39,000, Thank You Happy Birthday debuted at #2 on Billboard’s chart that crosses all genres as well as their Rock Albums, Digital Albums, Independent Albums and Alternative Albums charts.  Cake held the #1 spot for each of the aftorementioned.  But, Thank You Happy Birthday outsold Showroom of Compassion in Canada, placing Cage The Elephant on Billboard’s Canadian Album chart at #7 to Cake’s #15.
