George Fant and Jordan Shanklin each finished with 12 points in a losing effort Saturday as Warren Central fell 66-51 to Duncanville (Texas) High School during the 2010 Marshall County Hoopfest in Benton.

The Dragons led Duncanville by one after the first quarter, but were outscored by 13 after halftime in a 15-point, season-opening loss.

Donovan Halsel added nine for Central, while Duncanville was led by Jarius Wilson’s 21 points. Vic Smith added 11 rebounds for the Dragons.

Warren Central returns to the floor at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when it travels to Owensboro.
