Winter Reading Program Special Events at Warren County Public Library

Families are the focus of the Winter Reading Program at the Warren County Public Library’s Bob Kirby Branch.

            On Tuesday, Dec. 21, 4:30 p.m., families are invited to join us for a showing of a Christmas movie based on a classic Dr. Seuss book.  On Tuesday, Dec. 28, 6 p.m. come and enjoy a movie based on the “Nurse Matilda” stories by Christianna Brand.

On Tuesday, Jan. 4, 6 p.m., the library presents the Snow Ball for early elementary age children.  Or— Snow Ball for the early elementary age.

“Children are invited to dress in their best and join us for cookies, punch, and dancing,” says youth librarian Laura Johnson.

“Our usual storytimes for December and January will include themes of Gingerbread, Snowy Fun, and Mittens!  We hope to have lots of families join us for stories, songs, and crafts,” says Johnson.

Space is limited, so registration is required for the movie events and the Snow Ball.  Call 782-0252 starting December 10 to make your reservations.
