LEWISBURG — Richard “Dick” William Porter Sr., 65, of Auburn, died at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 21, 2010, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Danville native was born April 18, 1945. He was a retired radar installer for the U.S. government and a Marines, Army and National Guard Vietnam veteran. He was a son of the late R.B. “Bunny” Porter and Gladys “Dolly” Palmer Porter. He was preceded in death by a sister, Georgiana Porter.

Graveside service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Quality Baptist Church Cemetery. Price Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a son, Richard William Porter Jr. of Russellville; two sisters, Donna Jo Greer and Nancy Price, both of Russellville; and two grandchildren, Lola Porter and Lyla Porter, both of Russellville.
