- Far Off Broadway Players present A Christmas Carol
Adapted by Romulus Linney from the classic Dickens’ story, A Christmas Carol is seasonal favorite. Watch Ebenezer Scrooge transform from an embittered and ungenerous creature to a giving, caring human being at the hands of three spirits who, on Christmas Eve, show him what life really means. Dickens’s classic novel of ghosts, Tiny Tim and second chances come alive in this enchanting play.
Faced with his own mortality, and the evil results of his misanthropic, miserly ways, he is haunted by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come as he emerges from his ordeal to find true happiness. Through the staging of the play, audiences will find the true meaning of the season. Families of all ages will find A Christmas Carol a perfect holiday entertainment and a marvelous family treat.
