A Bowling Green man accused of stabbing a woman outside a tire store was formally charged Wednesday by a Warren County grand jury.

Roy Matsou Cutwright, 49, 2039 Russellville Road, Apt. 75, was indicted on one count of first-degree assault.

According to the indictment, Cutwright stabbed Lou Allen several times with a knife Sept. 13.

A Bowling Green Police Department report of the incident states that Cutwright was witnessed stabbing Allen as the two argued in the parking lot outside Big O Tires, 1975 Russellville Road.

Cutwright was arrested that day by police after allegedly fleeing the scene until a man caught him on St. Charles Street.

Allen suffered two cuts to her right chest, one on her left chest, defense wounds on her right thumb and left hand, a cut on her right forearm and a cut on her left biceps that resulted in massive blood loss, according to the police report.

Warren Circuit Judge John Grise has set a $100,000 bond in Cutwright’s case.
