MORGANTOWN — Glendon Eugene Warren, 84, of Beaver Dam, died Oct. 23, 2010, at a Bowling Green nursing home.

The Butler County native was born Jan. 8, 1926. He was a retired insurance investigator of 25 years for Equafax, a World War II Navy veteran serving as a submarine tender, and a member of The Church of Christ that meets at McHenry. He was a son of the late Ercel H. and Eva C. Miller Warren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Reva Warren and Ruth Anderson; and a brother, Haward Warren.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Potter Children’s Home in Bowling Green.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Kathleen Embry Warren of Bowling Green; a daughter, Sharon Gipson and her husband, Rick, of Owensboro; two sons, Stephen Warren and his wife, Debbie, of Apison, Tenn., and Stuart Warren and his wife, Rebecca, of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Delora Lynn Rowell and Stephanie Leigh Rowell, both of Wisconsin, Brian Gipson of Franklin and Brent Gipson and Melissa C. Warren, both of Bowling Green; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruby Johnson of Morgantown.
