WESLEY MEDLEYKSP academy grad

Two graduates of the Kentucky State Police Academy will start their careers at the Bowling Green Post. Wesley Medley and Justin Rountree graduated from the academy in Frankfort earlier this month.

Medley is a Barren County High School graduate, a U.S. Army veteran and former sergeant with the Glasgow Police Department. Medley and his family live in Glasgow.

A Hart County native, Rountree worked in his family’s business until his appointment into the KSP academy. Rountree attended Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and studied industrial maintenance and electricity before joining the KSP.

Rountree lives in Horse Cave.
