Dr. Thomas Barnes speaks at Warren County Public Library

Dr. Tom Barnes will be at the Main Library on Thursday, September 23 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss Gardening with Wildflowers.
Dr. Barnes is the Kentucky state Extension Wildlife Specialist and a full professor in the Department of Forestry at the University of Kentucky. He has been on the Department of Forestry faculty at the University of Kentucky for 20 years and is an internationally published, award-winning author and photographer.

Tom is the author and photographer of the number one regional best selling and Kentucky Literary Award nominated Kentucky’s Last Great Places. Other notable books written and photographed include the popular Gardening For The Birds and his latest, The Wildflowers and Ferns of Kentucky. Dr. Barnes most recent book is in the publication process and is tentatively titled Rare Wildflowers of Kentucky.
