Cummings-Aicken

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff and Diana Brown of Vine Grove are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica Nichole Cummings, to James Quinton Aicken, son of Mr. Mark Aicken of Bowling Green and Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Vicki Johnson of Alvaton.

Erica is also the daughter of the late Danny Cummings. She is the granddaughter of Emma Jean Savage, the late Harold Savage, and the late Jefferson and Dorothy Brown, all of Vine Grove. Erica is a 2000 graduate of North Hardin High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2005 and her Master of Science degree in nursing in 2010 from Western Kentucky University. She is currently employed by The Medical Center of Bowling Green.

Quinton is the grandson of James and Joyce Hood of Jeffersonville, Ind., the late Wylodean Redmond, the late John Aicken, and the late Janice Graff, all of Louisville. He is a 1995 graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Western Kentucky University. He is currently employed by Utley’s Bar and Grill.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 17, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bowling Green, with a reception immediately following at Lost River Cave.

Formal invitations have been sent.

After a honeymoon trip to Whitehouse, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Bowling Green.
