To Kill A Mockingbird is based Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name.

To Kill A Mockingbird takes place in the sleepy town of Maycomb, Alabama during the Great Depression. Scout Finch, the story’s six-year-old narrator, along with her older brother Jem and their friend Dill, are fascinated by their reclusive neighbor, Boo Radley. Scout’s father, Atticus Finch, is a lawyer defending Tom Robinson, a black man who has been accused of raping Mayella Ewell, a white woman. Atticus prevails in establishing that Robinson’s accusers are lying and he goes free. Later, while walking home from a Halloween party, Jem and Scout are attacked by Ewell’s father, and the children are rescued by the mysterious Boo Radley.
