Frank Ignatius St. Charles III, 62, of Bowling Green, died at 11:54 a.m. Aug. 15, 2010, in Nashville.
The Nashville native was born Oct. 25, 1947. He was a retired investment adviser representative for Monticello Banking Co. He was a 1965 graduate of Father Ryan High School in Nashville and began working at Commerce Union Bank in Nashville in 1967. He received an Associate of Science degree in banking from Nashville State Technical Institute and an Advanced Certificate in banking from The American Institute of Banking. In 1983, he began work at Bowling Green Bank & Trust as executive vice president. He was president of First Federal Savings & Loan, First American Bank and Integra Bank in Bowling Green. He was the former chairman of the board of trustees for Greenview Regional Hospital, past board chairman of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, past president of The Bowling Green Economic Development Authority, past president of Leadership Bowling Green, past president of the Capital Arts Alliance and past president of Bowling Green Country Club. He was an avid golfer and could be found on the golf course every Friday. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a son of the late Frank Ignatius St. Charles Jr. and Rosa Lee St. Charles England of Nashville, who survives.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include his wife, Ruth St. Charles; two daughters, Gina St. Charles of Nashville and Angie St. Charles Yates and her husband, Michael, of Bowling Green; a son, Capt. Frank “Chip” St. Charles IV of Bowling Green; a stepson Will Meng and his wife, Leslie, of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Bryson Yates, Avery Yates and Joe Meng IV, all of Bowling Green; a sister, Dr. Annell St. Charles and her husband, Dr. Costas Tsinakis, of Nashville; a niece, Sophie Tsinakis of Oakland, Calif.; and a nephew, Andreas Tsinakis of Oakland.
