HORSE CAVE — Hallie Edwards Davidson, 98, of Horse Cave, died at 1:15 a.m. Aug. 13, 2010, at a Horse Cave nursing home.

The Hart County native was a baby sitter for many years and a homemaker. She was a member of Horse Cave Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Henry Clay Edwards and Emma Nichols Edwards. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mabel Lockett and an infant daughter; a brother; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Hardyville. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Doris Wallace and her husband, Rex, and Marilyn Ray, all of Horse Cave; a son-in-law, Randall Lockett of Hardyville; nine grandchildren, Gary Lockett and his wife, Darlene, Myneka Russell and her husband, Chris, and Jeff Lockett and his wife, Teresa, all of Hardyville, Darrell Wallace and his wife, Robin, of Park City, Tony Wallace and his wife, Vicki, and Carla Smith and her husband, Ken, all of Glasgow, Tim Wallace and his wife, Tammy, of Horse Cave, and Ancy Glass and her husband, Leland, and June Parker and her husband, Chip, all of Cave City; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two nieces; and a nephew.
