Accident — Three people were injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Nashville Road.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Joseph Adamson, 18, of Woodburn, and carrying Lemuel Hammers, 76, of Franklin, was stopped in traffic near the 7000 block of Nashville Road at the intersection of Bowie Avenue.
Adamson’s vehicle was struck about 9:45 a.m. by a trailing vehicle driven by Kenneth Hauskins, 84, and carrying Gladys Hauskins, 78, both of Westmoreland, Tenn.
Adamson, Hammers and Gladys Hauskins were taken by ambulance to The Medical Center for treatment. Kenneth Hauskins was not injured, according to the sheriff’s office.
Adamson and Hammers were wearing seat belts, while the Hauskinses were unrestrained, the sheriff’s office said. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
