On Saturday August 28th at 7:00 pm, the Allen County-Scottsville Arts Council will present the 6th event of its 2010 Arts On Main summer concert series with a live performance by country/jazz virtuoso guitarist, Scotty Anderson.

This amazing musician is a guitarist’s guitarist of the same calibre as the late Les Paul and Chet Atkins. Influenced by his musical family, this Kentucky native (Whitley City) has been playing professionally since the age of nineteen.

Scotty Anderson honed his astounding chops performing at guitar shows and clinics for the Yamaha Company in the late eighties. This was carried further by clinics and festivals throughout the United States, including NAMM (North American Music Manufacturers) Shows in Nashville and Anaheim, California.

Other noteworthy career gigs include The Massachusetts Folk Festival in Boston for The National Council Of Traditional Arts, Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Paris France, and opening for the Doobie Brothers at the FirStar Center.

His impressive accolades include such praises…
