After five years of people asking Maestro Jeff Reed to bring back The`70s Show, he finally gave in.  “It’s probably my favorite decade for pop music,” commented the creator of Orchestra Kentucky’s Retro Series.  In fact, the Maestro so loved this era, he came up with a totally, one hundred per cent, brand new edition of The `70s Show.

Orchestra Kentucky, The Rewinders and a cast of way cool vocalists will take the audience back to the age of pet rocks, leisure suits and shag haircuts with a groovy play list jammed with killer hits from the Me Decade.

The Maestro has put together a truly awesome collection of hits – Stevie Wonder’s You are the Sunshine of My Life, Chicago’s Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?, Billy Joel’s Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, The Moody Blue’s Nights in White Satin and Steely Dan’s Rikki Don’t Lose that Number – to name just a few.

All Orchestra Kentucky concerts will be at Van Meter Hall on the campus of Western Kentucky University.  Free shuttle service is available from Mariah’s restaurant and the Adams Street parking lot adjacent to Van Meter.  $10 valet service is also available.  Easy elevator access eliminates step climbing.

The `70s Show, August 6th & 7th, 2010 at 8:00 PM.  This concert is made possible by Overhead Door of Bowling Green with additional support from Betty and Ronnie Moore, Steve Hudson, Inc. and Sun Suites Salon & Spa.
