Sandra G. Collins

FRANKLIN — Sandra Gail Collins, 59, of Portland, Tenn., entered into rest July 19, 2010, at her residence.

The Simpson County native was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of Wilburn Webb, who survives, and the late Mable Harper Thomas and the wife of the late Thomas Collins. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ferrell Shrum, Donald Webb, Kevin Webb and Lloyd Webb; and a sister, Sally Ladd.

Funeral is at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include three sons, Scotty Hammock and Randall Hesson, both of Franklin, and Mickey Hammock, of Portland; a daughter, Crystal Cosby, of Franklin; three brothers, Ronnie Webb, William Webb and Roger Webb; a sister, Diana Uhls; 12 grandchildren, Josh York, Lacy York, Kali York, Kelsi York, Thomas York, Kasey York, Alicia Carver, Christina Slack, Justin Hammock, Trevor Hammock, Zach Hesson and Jared Hesson; and eight great-grandchildren.
