Fountain Square ArtWorks’ Festival

ArtWorks, Inc., a non-profit organization and South-central Kentucky’s leading visual arts organization, is proud to announce the 2010 Fountain Square ArtWorks’ Festival located on the beautiful grounds of Fountain Square Park in downtown Bowling Green, KY.  This free event will be a show place for some of the area’s most skilled visual artisans and takes place July 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Fountain Square Artworks’ Festival will showcase original art, one-of-a-kind art, and limited editions of signed and numbered works of art, including sculpture, fine woodworking, paintings, jewelry, ceramics and much more on display. This is an exciting opportunity for area artisans to bring their talents together in one venue for both local and regional art enthusiasts to view or to purchase art for their homes or businesses.

Restaurants and other businesses around Fountain Square Park will be open for business.  During this event, event goers can also purchase ice cream, carriage rides around the downtown area, inflatables for the kids, as well as refreshments from the Capitol Arts Youth Theatre.

Participating artists include: Phil Aleci, Misha Ambrosia, Robin Baldwin, Tatum Bratcher, Natasia Champion, Jay Dougherty, Myra Dwyer, Donnie Firkins, Jill Gentry, Pamela Jones, Lauren Milliken, Deb Mulligan, Gayle Novick, Heidi Oberhelman, James Pearson, Kirsten Smith, Billy Twymon, Bill and Barbara Van Tassel, Jared Weaver, and Kay Zoretic.
