GREENVILLE — Nora Lee Gregory Ward, 88, of Ebenezer, died July 4, 2010, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville after a lengthy illness.

The Drakesboro native was born Aug. 13, 1921. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Depoy and was a housewife and homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Timothy Foley Gregory and Mina Kate Harlan Gregory. She was preceded in by her husband of 22 years, Ivan Neil Ward; five brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gary’s Funeral Home, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include eight children; Rosa Lee Dennis, of Beechcreek, Dianna Kay Zimmerman and her husband, Tom, of Gainesville, Ga., Mary Dean Tate and her husband, Bill, of Jasper, Ind., Barbara Neil Vaught and her husband, James, Oakwood, Ga., Ivan Wayne Ward, of Drakesboro, Teresa Lynn Brand and her husband, Kim, and Alisa Faye Chambers, all of Bowling Green, and Gary Wayne Stanley and his wife, Michelle, of Lowell, Ind.; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
