Andy Dennis is managing editor of the Daily News. He oversees the newsroom, sets policy and is responsible for hiring staff members. He also is a member of the editorial board.

The Central City native is a 1989 Western Kentucky University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in psychology. He joined the newspaper in 1989 and has worked as a sports writer, a reporter, a copy editor, news editor and assistant managing editor.

Andy and his wife, Andrea, have three children, Lindsey, Adam and Logan.
