Downtown Redevelopment Authority’s 31st Annual Concerts in the Park

The Downtown Redevelopment Authority will host the 31st Annual Concerts in the Park series sponsored by BB&T this June and July. The lineup features some familiar artists as well as some new additions with music ranging from rock to country.
Concerts take place on Wednesdays at noon in June in Fountain Square Park. To beat the heat, July’s concerts move to the evening with groups featured from 6:30 – 9pm in Fountain Square Park as well as from 7:30 – 10pm in Circus Square Park. As always, the event is free and food, drinks and children’s activities will be available. Blankets and lawn chair are welcome.

- June 2nd Blue Light Special (Rock/60’s/70’s/80’s)
- June 9th Exit 2 (Acoustic/Classic Favorites)

Friday concerts in Fountain Square Park from 6:30-9:00pm:
- July 9th Lead Based Paint (Classic Rock/Country/Blues)
- July 16th Easy Street (Country/Pop/Americana)
- July 23rd Salvage Town (Blues/Rock/Red Dirt Country)
- July 30th The Thornz (Classic Rock/Pop)
- August 6th Notorious (Southern Rock/Blues)
