Make a splash…read! The Warren County Public Library annual Summer Reading Program kicks off on Monday, June 7, at Parker Bennett Curry Elementary School. Come enjoy the great sounds and high energy of the Wulfe Brothers at 1:30 p.m. in the school gym.
The Summer Reading Program will feature lots of crafts, activities and prizes for those who love to read and complete the program. Along with our usual fantastic prizes is a chance for kids 13 and under to win $1,000. This new prize is sponsored by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority to encourage participation in all the statewide Summer Reading Programs and to promote the KHEAA college savings plan.

Summer Reading is not just for kids, adults can join the fun, too. In keeping with the “water” theme, classes include: seashell art, watercolor painting, calligraphy and a water feature presentation. All events are free and supplies provided, but registration is required for some of the classes.
The Summer Reading Program is made possible by the Warren County Public Library’s Friends of the Library.
