Edith Hooper, 91, died at 8:25 p.m. May 3, 2010, at The Medical Center.
The Logan County native was born March 17, 1919. She was a retired sales clerk from Young’s Department Store and a member of Epley Methodist Church. She was a very loving and kind lady. She was a daughter of the late James Monroe King and Pearl Mae King and the wife of the late William Luther Hooper. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Boyd King.
Graveside service is at 11 a.m. Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
