Pitts-Rotramel

Mr. and Mrs. John Pitts, of Bowling Green, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elliotte Pitts, to Paul David Rotramel, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rotramel, of Lexington.

Miss Pitts is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Tucker, of Bowling Green, and Mr. and Mrs. Casey Pitts, of Sumter, S.C. She is a 2006 graduate of Bowling Green High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Western Kentucky University in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in corporate and organizational communications. She is employed as a graduate assistant in the WKU College of Health and Human Services, Academic Center for Excellence, while pursuing a Master’s degree in student affairs. Miss Pitts is a member of Lambda Pi-Eta National Communications Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and the National Honor Society.

Mr. Rotramel is the grandson of Mr. Dueward Rotramel, of Springfield, Mo., the late Mrs. Beulah Rotramel, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Meyer, of Quincy, Ill. He is a 2006 graduate of Lafayette High School in Lexington. He will graduate summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Mr. Rotramel is student teaching in the Barren County School System. He is a member of Phi Mu Sinfonia music fraternity and an Eagle Scout.

The couple will be married May 29, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Bowling Green.
