Riverview at Hobson Grove is pleased to host a program about the independent film “American Drummer Boy,” the journey of Johnny Boone with the 11th Kentucky Infantry during the Civil War. Director Dorian Walker will discuss the background of the movie and show the 26 minute video “Call to War,” which includes a true life story of a boy from Allen County.
“American Drummer Boy” is based upon the true story of one of America’s youngest Medal of Honor winners with more information at www.americandrummerboy.com.
