Pinch and Pull

During one of the many snowstorms of 2010, I discovered a website that has changed the way I shop.  ETSY!  It is an online website designed to bring artisans and sellers together through a world of online boutiques.  From house wares to the latest fashion trends, Etsy offers handmade items that can’t be found in box stores.  I find myself sitting with my laptop hours at a time in a world of fabulous accessories and European dresses made to order.  Thanks to Etsy, couture becomes possible for all!

With each log on, I find a new shop owner that I fall in love with.  Of the items I have ordered so far, each transaction comes with personal service that feels as though you have just made a new best friend. Prompt service and handwritten thank you notes are a few of the things you can expect.

Below are a few sellers that I recommend starting with, but I will warn you, there are thousands more out there that are just as amazing! 

1. Cutienessers – One of the great things about Etsy is that you are able to shop by region.  Cutienessers is a local Bowling Green resident who is designing great accessories for both you and your little one.  Offering colorful flower hair clips and adorable baby booties, her products will make all your mommy friends jealous!

2. Fiaz Co – Looking for that pop of color to add to your outfit, Fiaz Co offers unique clutches made of 100% Dupioni silk. Coming in a variety of colors and styles, they have something for everyone. Fiaz Co will also custom make orders for brides and bridesmaid that can include a personal message inside.

3. Sarah Seven – If you are looking for a high quality dress that no one else will have, this seller is your girl!  Put on one of her dresses and you will feel like you just walked off the pages of Vogue.  The next time I need a cocktail or formal gown, this is who I will go to! Plus, 5% of all profits go to charities, so not only will you look fabulous, you will be helping others as well!

4. Deloris Petunia – The must have this spring is going to be the over to top necklace!  Add to a white T-shirt or your favorite LBD, a statement necklace will make any outfit truly spectacular.  Deloris Petunia offers incredible jewels that have even caught the attention of Harper’s Bazaar. Get ready to fall in love with all of her creations

5. PinchandPull – Guys, are you looking for that fashion accessory to set you apart from the crowd?  PinchandPull hand makes bow ties that will be sure to make the girls look twice.  So gentleman, take a step back in time and re-invent this classic Southern staple into your modern wardrobe.
