Each spring the South Central Chapter of the Kentucky Restaurant Association sponsors The Taste of Bowling Green (formerly called The World Tour or Wine and Cheese).  Delicious specialties from area restaurants and choice refreshments from wine and spirit distributors are brought together to benefit The Dream Factory of Bowling Green.  The Taste of Bowling Green this year will be March 11, 2010 at the Sloan Convention Center, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., featuring music by Skip Bond and the Fugitives.

The Dream Factory of Bowling Green is a volunteer organization providing dreams for critically and chronically ill children.  The Dream Factory has granted over one hundred twenty dreams ranging from trips to Disney World to meeting celebrities; attending professional sporting events to owning their own batting cage; as well as shopping sprees and other special requests.  Donations from generous people like you provide our financial support.

We will have a silent auction with the following featured items: Autographed Kenny Perry items, Pizza and game night package, Spa package, etc.

Tickets are on sale now for only $35 at any Chuck’s Liquor Store, Balloon-A-Gram or News Inn.  We will also sell tickets at the door the night of the event.
