Clyde T. Baugh

RUSSELLVILLE — Clyde Thomas Baugh, 76, of Russellville, died Feb. 12, 2010, at Logan Memorial Hospital.

The Muhlenberg County native was born Jan. 2, 1934. He retired after 40 years as an insurance agent with the Kentucky Farm Bureau of Logan County, where he was the agency manager for 37 years. He taught industrial arts for two years at the Paducah Tilghman School, was formerly a committee member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and was a member of New Vision Community Church. He was a son of the late Irvin Baugh and Mildred Bivins Baugh. He was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Kimble Baugh.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. today at New Vision Community Church in Russellville, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon today at the church. Young Funeral Home, Russellville chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carolyn Baugh; a son, Mike Baugh and his wife, Angie, of Russellville; two granddaughters, Kimberly Baugh, of Russellville, and Courtney Martin and her husband, Gabe, of Madison, Ind.; a great-granddaughter, Ruby Martin; an aunt, Edna Vaughn, of Lewisburg; a godson, Greg Head, of Russellville; a goddaughter, Pam Head, of Russellville; and a godgrandson, Sye Head.
