Dr. Cordell Riley

GLASGOW — Dr. Cordell Riley, 79, of Glasgow, died Feb. 7, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
The Barren County native was a Korean War veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He was a 1958 graduate of Western Kentucky University, a 1962 graduate of University of Louisville College of Dentistry and a 1966 graduate of M.D. Anderson Cancer Institute’s Department of Maxillo Facial Prosthesis. He then practiced in California at UCLA and in his own private practice before returning to Glasgow 10 years ago. He was a son of the late Stanley Riley Sr. and Louise Royal Riley and the husband of the late Vanara Belle Dunham.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with private burial in Fairview Cemetery. Cremation was chosen.
Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Lara Riley Brown, of Seattle; a granddaughter, Emily Riley, of Portland, Ore.; five brothers, Leo Riley, of Abilene, Texas, Wayne Riley and Perry Riley, both of Bowling Green, John D. Riley, of Louisville, and Stanley Riley Jr., of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews.
