BROWNSVILLE — Michael W. Colburn Sr., 46, of Chalybeate, died at 4:05 p.m. Feb. 1, 2010, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.

The Butler County native was a drywall hanger and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church. He was a son of Jimmie Colburn Sr., of Roundhill, and Judy Whitaker Scott, of Lebanon Junction, who survive. He was preceded in death by a stepmother, Ann Peterson Colburn.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home, with burial in Whittinghill Cemetery. Visitation begins at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Other survivors include a son, Michael W. “Mikey” Colburn Jr., of Bee Spring; four brothers, David Hammond, of Chalybeate, Craig Colburn, of Bowling Green, Jimmie Colburn Jr., of Roundhill, and David Scott, of Lebanon Junction; and a sister, Rebecca Scott, of Lebanon Junction.
