RUSSELLVILLE — Mary Magdalene Campbell, 93, of Russellville, formerly of Lewisburg, died Jan. 10, 2010, at a Russellville nursing home.
The Logan County native was born April 3, 1916. She was a homemaker and a longtime active member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a daughter of the late Burton Brooks and Etta Smith Brooks and the wife of the late Rayburn Campbell. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Estil Brooks; and a sister, Gertrude Wherry.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sanders Funeral Home, with burial in Lewisburg Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Sue Boyles, of Russellville; a son, Berkley Campbell, of Russellville; three grandsons, Jed and Ryan Campbell, of Russellville, and Jeff Boyles, of Humble, Texas; a granddaughter, Andra Bledsoe, of Hermitage, Tenn.; and six great-grandchildren, Austin Doss, Caleb Campbell, Celeste Boyles and Campbell, Claire and Camryn Bledsoe.
