Donald Ray Hazlewood, 64, of Bowling Green, died at 2:02 a.m. Nov. 26, 2009 at The Medical Center.
The Anna, Ill., native was born July 25, 1945. He was retired from General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant, where he worked in auto paint repair. He was a loving husband, father, poppy and friend to all and loved fishing and hunting. Donald was raised a Baptist. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and was a member of the UAW Local 2164. He was a son of the late Theodore Hazlewood and Opal Richards Hazlewood and husband of Susan Young Hazlewood, of Bowling Green, who survives. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Alan Hazlewood; and a half sister, Carol Gregory.
Funeral is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Susan Young Hazlewood; a son, Donald Ray Hazlewood II, of Bowling Green; two daughters, U.S. Navy Reserve Petty Officer 1st Class Melissa Lee Stork and her husband, U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Race, of Kailua, Hawaii, and Pamela Marie Cline and her husband, Keith, of Bowling Green; a former daughter-in-law and her children, Linda Lane, J.C. and Chris, of Glasgow; nine grandchildren, Anthony Shane Hazlewood, Carie, Dustin and Deanna Lane, Trevor Allen Cline, Ripken Lee Stork, Haley Marie Cline, Drake Alan Hazlewood and Lyndon Marshall Hazlewood; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Lynne Boroweic and her husband, Rick, and Sharon Louise Elkins, all of Springfield, Ill.; three nephews, Alexis, George and Daniel; and his beloved dog, Ali.
