A Louisville-based home furnishing store is opening a location in Russellville.

Opening today, Red Tree Furniture offers handcrafted furniture as well as accessories, gifts and lighting. It will be the fourth store for owner Garwood Linton.

“I feel as if it is a return to my roots” Linton said in a news release. His family has lived in Logan County since the 1800s. “It’s been a family affair.”

Linton has been in the home furnishings industry for more than 20 years and opened the first Red Tree store in Louisville in 2002.

The Russellville store is located on Fourth Street next to Russellville Visitor Center.
