Attorneys Maier, Williams join ELPO

Attorneys Mark B. Maier and Tiffany J. Williams recently joined English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley in Bowling Green.

Maier holds a bachelor’s degree from Centre College in history and anthropology and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. His previous experience includes serving as an Americorps team leader from 2005 to 2006, assisting with disaster relief in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. He also served as a summer clerk for Chief Justice John Minton of the Supreme Court of Kentucky and as a clerk for the Appeals Branch of the Department of Public Advocacy for the state. While attending law school, he was a member of the UK College of Law Honor Council, a member of the recruitment committee and a volunteer income tax assistant. The Bowling Green native practices primarily in insurance and litigation.

Williams has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in government and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky. She worked as an inventory analyst for McKesson Corp. in Richmond, Va., for two years. During law school, she clerked for Mead Johnson & Co. in Evansville, Ind., a division of Bristol-Myers Squibb for ELPO Law, and then for Fayette County Circuit Court Judge Jo Ann Wise. She founded the UK chapter of the Asian and Pacific American Law Students Association in 2008 and served as president from 2008 to 2009. She was vice president of the UK Chapter of the Black Law Students Association from 2007 to 2008, served on the Student Recruitment committee, was a student member of the Diversity Committee and was appointed as the student member of the Admissions Committee. The Caroline County, Va., native practices primarily in employment law.
