BROWNSVILLE — Lucille Ray, 85, of Sunny Point died at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 30, 2009, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a farmer, a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a daughter of the late Gabe Duvall and Mary Cureton Duvall and the wife of the late Roma Ray. She was preceded in death by four sons, Roma Earl Ray, Bobby Louis Ray, Steven Ray and George Edward Ray.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home, with burial in Shrewsbury Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Paul Ray of Sunny Point; five daughters, Lorraine Frost of Baton Rouge, La., Louanna Frost of Denham Springs, La., Louise Rushing of Greensburg, Margie Howell of Sunfish and Martha Henson of London; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
